 HOW TO LEARN TO DEBATE?

Hello debate lovers, that is, Panelists or Debaters, these are the likely names given to people who debate or discuss.

Anyway, the question is quite pertinent or interesting, isn't it?

😁Without a doubt it is.

Now let's see, if you are used to the various debate environments, especially you, you should read this article from head to toe or head to head, sorry for the excessive redundancies in that language of Camões,

We wanted to make the subject more spicy, but let's get to what really matters:

If you noticed correctly, we try to say the same things but with different words, trying to change the meanings of the terms, because in the Portuguese language, all words are polysemous (that is, they have more than one meaning), this trick works very well in any debate .

Note well, in a debate we have two parties of counter-positions, which we would call "Opponents", the idea is to appear as convincing as possible regarding the arguments.

Those who prepare in good time, with a certain degree of advance notice, have a better chance of winning a debate than those who have or had little time to prepare for a debate announced well in advance.

Now realize!

You were asked to enter a Public Debate, you were announced within a period of 5", it seems like total chaos or it seems like an earthquake has just shaken your sensitive heart.

Unfortunately, as Panelists, we must be prepared as soldiers for dialectical challenges, do not be afraid to express your opinions on topics that you do not have control over, because debating is not a question of being right or wrong. , since with well-presented arguments you can transform an erroneous notion as right and if by chance, you do not have consistency in your arguments, you will be able to unequivocally appear to have your concept right, but with a wrong bias 📚.

In fact, we have informal debates, which are the ones we see ourselves debating in our day-to-day lives. In this type of debate, we don't need to be very rigorous, because debating with friends, family and our peers,

requires a lot of sensitivity from us (you can give someone reason to end the discussion) in such a way,

harmony will be maintained within our intimate bosom; however, it is entirely the conception, which we must absorb in a formal debate, perpetrated by Panelists and/or Debaters highly armed by standards of eristic dialectics (the art of discussing with the sole aim of being right, through legal or illicit means) or dialectics (dialectics is the art of good discussion), at no time should we agree with our opponent, because if we did so, we would be publicly admitting our defeat before the panel.

Let us remember that there are many subjects in a theme and during our debates with Panelists' tricks, we must try to deal with the given theme, on subjects that we actually have expertise in, thus deceiving the moderator who is leading the debate in analysis.

Listen very carefully to the presentations of other opposing Panelists or co-religionist Panelists, only then will you know the ideal moment to attack, corroborate or counter-attack a specific Panelist.

Be careful with those direct questions (yes or no), they seem more like traps that will undermine the credibility of your arguments, in these cases, when you feel cornered, it is better to remain silent or say something like this: This It's relative, it's just your personal perspective (in this way, you lower the credibility of that opponent, creating a shield to protect yourself).

The sole purpose of a debate is to find the truth and justice of things. This truth can actually be the thing itself or simply the refutation of the weight of the argument about a supposed demonstrated truth and we would touch on justice, addressing the nature of the object or what the subject says about the object.🔥

-Get to know the panel in advance or, if this is not possible, adapt according to your size and/or intellectual disposition, regarding the topics being discussed.

Regardless of whether you think differently, always be a courteous Panelist, in order to comply with the rules of social coexistence while maintaining your argumentative and dialectical elegance.

If necessary, show your sources to give yourself irrefutable credibility in your presentations.

We finish here today and we hope to be quite sufficient,

making you learn how you should position yourself in the face of debates, to avoid a certain fiasco in your "raison d'être" regarding your participation in a given debate.
